Young 'n old get toothache relief

A packed Carreta Barangay Hall was the site of Visayan Electric Company Inc.'s (VECO) first dental mission last November 4. Forty-six patients trooped for free tooth extraction and other dental procedures. Providing health care to the community is one of VECO's core community projects.

Both the young and old received relief from their toothaches after three dentists managed to cater to their needs. Carreta Barangay Captain Eduardo Lauron is grateful to VECO for bringing the free dental services to his barangay and to the three dentists who reminded the people to practice good oral hygiene (especially to the children who are most prone to oral health problems).

Community Relations Manager Eric Ching promises to hold dental missions every year at different barangays in VECO's franchise. (PR)
