VECO opens new service center in Banawa To provide convenience to customers, the Visayan Electric Co. Inc. (VECO) opens a new service center at the ground floor of One Pavilion Mall in Banawa, Cebu City. This will operate from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Sunday. The newest business center will allow VECO customers living in Guadalupe, Labangon, V. Rama and Capitol Site easy access to services, such as service applications, service requests, refund transactions and bill deposits. This also caters inquiries and complaints but it cannot accept bill payments since VECO encourages customers to pay through nearby Third Party Agents (TPAs) or authorized collection partners where it is more convenient to them. To date, One Pavilion Mall is the fourth office of VECO, which maintains service centers at SM Consolacion, in Tabunok in Talisay City (south extension office) and at SM City Cebu North Reclamation Area in Cebu City (full service center). |

2GO Outlets Now Accept VECO Payments In line with its continued efforts to provide customers with greater accessibility and convenience in paying their bills, Visayan Electric Company (VECO) and 2GO entered into an agreement for the latter to be its new collection service partner. Beginning September 1, 2010 VECO has added 2GO outlets in Ayala, Cebu; Gaisano South; Legaspi, Cebu City; and SM City Cebu as third party agents that accept payments for VECO's electric bills. They are authorized to accept payments for both green (current) and red bills (with overdue), even after the due date indicated in the bill has expired. Collection reports are sent via file-transfer-protocol (FTP) or e-mail daily, so customers are assured that their payments made during the day are posted on VECO’s records on the same day. VECO Bills will be machine-validated and marked by 2GO to indicate a successful payment transaction. Customers are advised to bring the actual bill to be paid out when transacting payments. 2GO-Ayala, Cebu and 2GO-Gaisano South accept payments from Monday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. To 6:00 p.m. Meanwhile, 2GO-Legaspi, Cebu City will receive payments for VECO bills from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from Monday to Saturday. For its part, 2GO-SM City Cebu caters to VECO bill payments starting 10:00 a.m. To 6:00 p.m. from Monday-Sundays. VECO and 2GO are sister companies under Aboitiz Equity Ventures. 2GO specializes in package and cargo transport and delivery. VECO is the 2nd largest private distribution utility in the Philippines.
